Nothing beats the french press. I own a Keurig espresso and cappuccino maker, single serve Keurig, Cuisinart grind and brew, and a regular drip…yes I am a coffee lover. I had fallen in love with the French Press after Starbucks was offering free samples using their press. The cost for their press was $80 so I decided to wait. I was very excited when I was able to purchase the Procizion 34 oz press during their promotional sale. Best decision I ever made. Unlike even the Starbucks press, Procizion’s french press offers a very smooth process to a great cup of coffee. The best part is NO GRINDS..and I have been using it for over a week, several time a day. It has a very nice design, the metal frame is nice for protecting the glass. The handle is wide and sturdy. The lid stays on great and you get a nice smooth pour from the spout. It is very easily to clean…much easier than my others I have mentioned before. There is no water to get trapped in the tube, requiring a vinegar rinse and wash, etc. Just a nice brew every time. I think this would be a great gift especially for college students who might need the great coffee without a lot of hassle.

Watch Video Here: http://ift.tt/1DyxsEN With all the coffee makers, I am always iffy about using the machine to make my coffee/hot water as the tank in the back has water flowing through it, but that tube is never cleaned. It’s like using the same straw every day (shivers).
The Procizion French Press is a great solution to my fear of bacteria filled tubes. I just boil water in my kettle and I have control of how long I wait before I pour the water in and thus having full control of the temperature. I also save money and waste of filters

French Press:
The glass cylinder pitcher has metal around the side and base that lifts the body from the table and reduces accidental touches of the hot glass
Handle is mounted securely on the metal
The pitcher’s spout is angled, which is a nice touch as the last bit at the base is easier poured at an angle than straight on
Steel cap with a plunger is one piece, the filter at the bottom of the plunger is removable/replaceable
Filter itself: Uses a spring around the edge that presses the filter against the glass and thus keeping the coffee ground/tea leaves from raising. They use a triple filter system that keeps the leaves/ground bits from flowing upwards
They recommend to clean the pitcher with hot water to prime the pitcher and then pour water into the pitcher, glass does retain cool temperatures and thus would zap the heat from the water
With tea and coffee, the perfect temperature matters a lot. Having the temperature too hot means the coffee/tea will rapidly release their yield and thus making the drink bitter. With a lower temperature, the right amount is released and the concentration is perfect. Of course the bean quality and time it is processed matters a lot. Also the freshly grounded coffee makes a difference in flavor as well
To some, the difference is minute as the creamer added will become the only flavor they taste
Just measure and pour the coffee ground/tea into the base of the pitcher and add hot water.
Take a spoon / stir rod and do a quick mix and then lower the plunger lid with the plunger raised
Lower the plunger and I am ready to pour myself a cup
This method could take a bit more time, but I would save energy, filter, risk of bacteria
Overall, the Procizion French Press is pretty easy to use while helping me save money. This also allows me to have more control over the my drink. Of course I would need to transfer to a insulated container
