Confirmed: Does work in the B150
By J. V. Semmelrock
I’ve just been using this for a few days so far.
It works fine in my Keurig B150. The fit in the Keurig is a little snug, but it brews a cup of coffee that seems a little stronger than the disposable K-cup (compared with Dunkin ground vs Dunkin K-cups, very unscientifically.) I’ve seen a tiny amount of sediment in the cup on two occasions.
The STK cup itself closes fine, is easy to clean, and works without any problem in the B150. Almost every re-usable cup on the market is not made for the slightly-different commercial brewers, but this particular model works with no leaks, or any other obvious issues.
I can’t speak for the other commercial models that STK’s packaging/listing says they’re compatible with, but I bought this doubting it would actually work for me and it surprised me by having zero issues.

Met all my expectations and at a great price
By kindred spirit
We got a Keurig K150 (same thing as a B150) for Christmas, and while I love the idea of a fresh cup of coffee any time I want one, I was bothered by the idea of throwing away the plastic and foil disposable K-cups. It just seems so wasteful. I get that that the disposable cups are an industry all on their own, but why can’t someone (I’m talking to you Keurig) make a biodegradable disposable K-cup? End of rant.
So, I scoured the Internet looking for a reusable K-cup to be able to use my own coffee and reduce my K-cup contribution to the landfill. It turned out that the machine we received is a commercial model, and there is an extremely limited selection of reusable K-cups that fit this model. The manufacturer says resuable cups are “not practical” in an office setting. Well, if you have to search as much as I did to even find one that fits, that works out well for disposable K-cup producers, doesn’t it? The STK K-cups happen to be one of only two options that specified they would fit my Keurig model (without doing some other mod. Why should I have to do that?) This product cost about 1/3 the price of my only other option, so I went the frugal route and hoped for the best.
The K-cup set arrived yesterday, and I have made several cups of coffee with one already. I did find the lid a little difficult to close the first time or two, but it also achieves a tight seal, so that’s not a complaint, just an observation. Someone had commented that this cup was a tight fit in the K-150, but I didn’t find it to be at all. The instructions tell you to align the cup hinge with the back of the Keurig– and that’s just a way to ensure that you line up one of the two holes on the bottom of the cup with the needle that punctures disposable cups. It fits with the hinge facing the user too. Any other position will result in the needle adding a new puncture hole in your reusable K-cups. I found this very straightforward–minimal fiddling around.
As for the coffee, the STK K-cups work as advertised. No grounds got into my coffee, and no water leaked or splashed. I didn’t smell or taste the plastic. For the record, I used about 2 T of ground coffee, and I think I will continue to play with the amount to get to the strength I like best. It seems that the Keurig (no matter what kind of cup you’re using) requires at least 2 T to produce a cup of coffee, and I like mine to be a bit on the strong side, like a coffee house brew. The grind is another variable that I will continue to test as well.
Cleanup is easy enough. I tap the used grounds into my little counter top compost collector– a little tricky because the lid on the STK K-cups is permanently attached. I don’t want to break the hinge by whacking it, and I also want to avoid depositing any of the wet grounds on the K-cup lid or on the counter. To get the remaining grounds out, as someone else commented, it’s better to rinse this from the outside.
I really can’t ask for or expect any more for this price.

These cups are perfect! The filter has tiny holes which allows it be used for finely ground coffee. They fit very easily into the Keurig. The hole on tip aligns perfectly with the water dispenser that comes down from the top of the keurig (punctures a hole in the K-Cup). I would highly recommend these!
