I am a person who believe in using the product several times before writing the review. After a couple of weeks using this french press, below are my impressions on this great product…
1) Prompt shipping and well packed.
2) Economical, great buy. Quality meets value.
3) Awesome solid and ergonomic design for easy handling.
4) Consists of heat resistant plastic frame and durable borosilicate glass carafe.
5) Unlike metallic frames, this frame snugs the carafe and helps to protect it from small accidental shocks ( But it does not mean it is shatterproof,so always handle with care..! )
6) Firm and stainless steel sturdy plunger,plunges straight and clean.
7) Tight and precise filter mesh press finely filters the coffee and traps the coffee grounds between the mesh filter and carafe.
8) Brews about three medium size (about 300ml each) cups of coffee (Total 34fl oz).
9) Very easy to clean – thorough rinsing under warm running water is good enough. ( Make sure it gets cleaned after each use; if it is used to make both coffee and tea, if you don’t want to mix the flavors..! )
We two are not coffee / tea addicts , but we like to enjoy a really rich delicious coffee at times..!
Now , we are using this French press 4-6 times a week. I am using this french press for making espresso , filter coffee ( Indian version of cafe au lait ) , iced coffee and for steeping tea.
I would have liked this French press a little bit more if the color was black or brown. But who cares , as the color of the french press never made my coffee taste bad
I highly recommend this sturdy , precise and handy french press that works flawlessly for brewing either a rich ,delicious and refreshing cup of coffee or tea . It will never let you down in your daily morning routine, if you like to start your day with a perfect smooth rich and robust cup of coffee…! What else would you expect from a French press ?

I used to own a smaller (one cup) french press moving up to the larger size was a great idea. The construction of this press is solid. The filter works very well and the top wont slip when turned to pour. The outer plastic shell keeps my hands safe. My kids accidentally touched it with hot water inside and weren’t hurt due to the outer shell. The handle has a fine ergonomic build. The base is solid and won’t break. When it arrived, the packaging was almost too much! The french press was safely packaged in lots of bubble wrap. My only complaint is that I wish it came in more colors and perhaps a smaller size.

This is the first french press I’ve owned. After being frustrated with an Aeropress for 2 years I decided to give this product a try. I can only contrast the differences between my Aeropress experience and this Sunlit Fresh Press coffee maker (I’ve never used another french press). Also, I speculate, and other reviews confirm, that this would be a good product for making tea though I have yet to try it.
First of all, there aren’t any filters to mess with — the all-metal mesh in this product seems very sturdy, and if you’re grinding your beans coarsely enough you’ll find that very few debris pour over into your mug.
Secondly, this product is much easier to clean than an Aeropress — simply rinse off the plunger assembly and dump out the ground coffee. Couldn’t be simpler.
Thirdly, this product is easier to use overall — using the inverted method with an Aeropress can be dangerous, especially when you need to apply generous force to press coffee through the filter and into your beverage. I’ve found that the rubber fittings in the Aeropress plunger assembly become less pliable and more difficult to move through the filter assembly over time. I’ve spilled boiling water and have knocked half-full coffee cups onto the floor with an Aeropress. With this product you grind your beans, pour your hot water in, wait, push the plunger down and enjoy a hot cup of coffee.
Fourth, it’s nice being able to create 2-3 cups of coffee at a time. With an Aeropress, it’s pretty much a one-and-done endeavor as going through the process more than once is frustrating and cumbersome — I just want a good cup of coffee quickly in the morning!
I should mention something about the appearance of this product. There seems to be a standard and boring aesthetic for french press products — a trend this product steers far away from. It’s “cardinal red” color and organic lines look inviting in our kitchen and help brighten our mornings in some small way. This product feels sturdy in your hand and I have a feeling it should last a long time.
