This French Press made a great cup of coffee, and was very easy to use. I used it for the first time with an organic sumatran medium roast coffee, coarsely ground as recommended. I got a very rich tasting coffee, despite the fact that I add cream to my coffee. The second cup was nice and hot, served about 30 minutes later, and did not have that bitter taste that coffee sometimes get after sitting on the warming plate of a standard drip coffee maker. It has an 8 cup capacity, but these are for 4 oz cups, so do not expect to get 8 mugs out of this pot. The design of this French Press requires that you place the coffee in the pot, add hot water, stir and close the lid to trap in the heat. The coffee will then steep for 4 minutes, after which you press the plunger down, rotate the lid and pour out a great cup of coffee. I have only used it once, but was happy with the result. Everything cleaned up easily with soap and water, but be careful when washing the edge of the press, as it felt a bit sharp. I am anxious to give it a try with a full pot, to see how long it will keep warm and if it steeps as well.

We love this product it is not only beautiful and functional it makes an amazing cup of coffee , we found it simple to use and really easy to clean .The ease of use is amazing .First pour your grounds into the bottom of your french press, then add boiling water , let it sit for as long as you wish for your desired strength of coffee .You will then slowly press the plunger down until it reaches the bottom , then you will have amazing coffee .
We loved how this coffee turns out it is smooth and tasting not bitter at all , for a great cup of coffee this is what you need .I highly recommend this product for all your coffee needs .

I have never used a French Press coffee maker or had coffee from one before. This was incredibly easy to use. The coffee tasted like coffee house coffee! My husband and I were amazed at how much better the coffee was compared to a regular coffee maker. I was surprised at how quickly you can have an awesome cup of coffee as well. It is probably a good thing it holds 32 oz, otherwise I would drink way too much!
I love the design, it is so beautiful. It says you can put it all in the dishwasher. I hand washed it, just to have it ready for the next day. It was super easy to clean. Just dry with a hand towel before the spots dry.
Great product that makes a great cup of coffee! And no grounds in my cup! I am really impressed with the whole process, product and results.
