I spent alot of time researching coffee machines before choosing this one for my Christmas list. I received it on Christmas morning and immediately set it up for my first cup. So far, this machine is amazing. The coffee comes out piping hot, the quality and taste of the coffee is noticeably better than my old Mr. Coffee, I grind my own coffee beans and have not had any sediment from using the gold filter; it can also accommodate the #4 paper cone filters. We program it to have our coffee waiting in the morning and and so far so good. I also love that there is an adjuster button for when yoou make 1-4 cups. The machine is beautiful and looks great on my counter.

Excellent coffeemaker, works well, the extra 2 cups were the big draw to purchase, as well as Consumer Reports’ great review. Only drawbacks (2): 1 – brewing cycle needs to complete before you pour your first cup…otherwise it continues to drip – unless am doing something wrong? 2 – like all Cuisinart caraffes, you need to pour the water in the coffeemaker slowwwwlllyyyyy to fill it – otherwise it drips all over your counter. These ‘operator error’ issues aside, this is a great coffeemaker, glad to have it for sure.

We have had the DCC-3200 for over a month and love our new coffee machine. One of the initial reasons why we went with this model over other Cuisinart coffee machines was the exterior is stainless steel instead of painted plastic. The coffee tastes great and we love the timer. If we had one complaint it is that the warmer turns off after 2 hours. It isn’t a deal breaker but something you should know. Bottom line, is great tasting hot coffee in a nice package.
EDIT: I was informed that you can adjust the auto shut-off from 2-4 hours by holding down the middle button. The coffee machine is now perfect for us!
